The listed building has cult status, in the architectural scene as well as in amateur and professional swimming. In order to preserve the Olympic spirit of 1972 visually, the original design was restored during the general renovation of the Munich Olympic Swimming Hall by the architectural firm planplus gmbh - according to contemporary structural standards, of course. Under the legendary tent roof, pool water technology, heating-ventilation-sanitation, lighting, electrical and fire protection were brought up to the latest state of the art during ongoing operation.
Our Fiberseal smoke protection curtains and permanently installed Supercoil smoke aprons secure various areas of the modernized bathing and sauna facilities in the event of a fire, such as the ticket office and the café. For carefree splashing fun for bathers young and old.
