digitalBAU 2022 inspires construction industry
With a 20 percent increase in exhibitors, this year's digitalBAU went one better for its international trade audience: 330 exhibitors from 16 countries, including 72 startups, presented their products and solutions (2020: over 270 exhibitors/13 countries); the foreign share was 14 percent (2020: just under 10 percent). There were around 10,000 visitors from 41 countries. The countries with the most visitors after Germany were Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Turkey and Belgium. Starting in 2023, digitalBAU will go into an annual cycle. At the current trade show, highlights included expert presentations in five forums, numerous networking events and the presentation of the German Construction Award. For us, too, the innovation platform of the construction industry was as interesting as it was inspiring. Above all, we were inspired by the personal contact with visitors at the Heinze joint stand in Hall 4.2/Bay 15.
