Come and see the performance capability of modern fire protection textiles in our mobile fire test container.
Live fire tests on site
A textile withstanding a temperature of more than 1,832 °F which remains intact for several hours? A fabric with a thickness of 0.03" which reduces the passage of radiation by approx. 90 % (to put it simply)? Come and see the performance capability of modern fire protection textiles in a live fire test.
The mobile fire container allows you to experience first hand how effective modern textile fire protection products are. This mobile container, which was specially developed for demonstration purposes from a standard container, is used at exhibitions or customer events. Special Stöbich fire protection fabrics are installed inside the container to demonstrate their protection properties in a simulated smoke development and control situation or in a simulated fire inside the container. Materials used are, for instance, the fire protection fabric Heliotex and the passable smoke protection curtain Stripecoil. The demonstrations always take place outdoors.
Fire protection fabric
Brick partition with limitation of radiation penetration
The example of the Stoebich Fire & Smoke Fabric H fabric clearly shows how well the radiation penetration through this fabric is reduced. The radiation limit W is the ability of a part to withstand loads on one side so that the probability of fire spreading as a result of significant radiated heat is reduced, either by the part or by a surface of the part facing away from the fire. It may also be necessary for the part to protect persons close by.
