The Olgakrippe Bad Cannstatt e. V. in Stuttgart is an architectural masterpiece with a long tradition: as early as May 1875, Queen Olga, wife of the then reigning Württemberg King Karl, lent her memorable name as patron to the first day nursery in Bad Cannstatt. Even though the address of the day nursery has changed several times over the years, it is still one of the most important day care facilities in the Stuttgart area.
Currently, the Olga day nursery at Taubenheimstraße 12 near the Kurpark offers childcare for around 130 children from the age of 8 weeks until they start primary school. From the basement to the 3rd floor, great importance was attached to a child-friendly, colourful and at the same time modern interior design.
The installed Fibershield®-HC fire protection curtains from STÖBICH blend perfectly into the futuristic interior design and remain discreetly in the background. By closing off the room horizontally, they combine the cross-floor light corridor with functional fire protection. In the event of an alarm, the textile fire protection closures close by electric motor. The stainless steel nets, which can be removed on site, additionally secure the openings and allow daylight into the rooms.
For an open, friendly atmosphere that makes playing and learning even more fun.
