The universal ceiling closure Universal-S is a sturdy damper construction for the space-saving installation in ceilings and floors. Application areas are, for instance, fire protection for vertical conveyors and discharge chutes. The system serves to shield supports with wall and ceiling penetrations and load-bearing equipment by means of circumferential collars. Depending on the installation situation, Universal-S is available as a single or multiple-part model. The vertical conveyor shaft does not require cladding. Universal-S meets the requirements of fire resistance class T 90 and is tested according to DIN 4102-5
