Nolde Museum | Seebüll, Germany

Living and working in the midst of his own art: Emil Nolde fulfilled this dream. Probably one of the most famous German expressionists of the 20th century, he created his own home and studio not far from his home near the Danish border. Today, the red-brick cube in the Bauhaus style is a museum with an annually changing art exhibition, painting courses for young and old and an originally furnished living area of the "Master of Colour", who died in 1956. The colourful flowers in the garden, which Emil laid out with his wife Ada and whose paths run in the shape of the initials E and A, are as colourful as Nolde's artworks. Even the burial place of the artist couple is housed here.

But back to the Nolde Museum, for which Emil Nolde established a foundation during his lifetime. The collection of paintings, watercolours, drawings, graphic works and handicrafts stored here is protected by STÖBICH smoke protection curtains in case of fire: Four Fiberseal smoke protection closures provide fire safety without distracting from the unique art.
